Our Capabilities

For more than a decade, Island Exterior Fabricators has operated as a privately owned practice specializing in the delivery of bespoke, high-performing prefabricated facade systems. Our 50-acre manufacturing campus is headquartered in Calverton, New York, and supported by design and engineering offices in Manhattan, Boston, and Hartford. 

The firm employs over 450 full-time personnel, including engineers, digital designers, project managers, accountants, purchasers, and logisticians, as well as highly skilled fabrication and production teams.  

Our organization is fully self-sustained, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that enable us to deliver a high-quality product. Our production capabilities, installation network, and bonding capacity allow Island to complete large-scale, complex projects in a timely, efficient manner. 

Our Fabrication Campus

Island’s fabrication and manufacturing needs are met within eight clear-span, high-capacity structures situated within an industrial manufacturing complex where both raw materials and completed work are stored. The campus includes over 450,000 square feet of indoor milling, assembly, and production space, enabling our team to operate year-round, on multiple shifts.

Our Process

Through integrated partnerships (design-assist and design-build), our facade specialists—many of them licensed architects—enable designers and developers to realize ambitious goals for performance, sustainability, cost, and schedule.
