For more than a decade, Island Exterior Fabricators (IEF) has operated as a privately owned practice specializing in the delivery of bespoke, high-performing prefabricated facade systems. Our 50-acre manufacturing campus is headquartered in Calverton, New York, and supported by design and engineering offices in Manhattan, Boston, and Hartford.

Our organization is fully self-sustained, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that enable us to deliver a high-quality product. Our production capabilities, installation network, and bonding capacity allow Island to complete large-scale, complex projects in a timely, efficient manner

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • · Create Precise Technical Drawings: Ensure all technical drawings and models are accurate and meet project specifications.

  • · Maintain Excellence: Uphold high-quality standards in all presentations and deliverables, showcasing your dedication to perfection.

  • · Meet Deadlines: Deliver projects on time and within agreed timelines, effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • · Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve by engaging in ongoing learning and development, keeping up with industry trends and software advancements.

  • · Innovate and Improve: Provide valuable feedback and suggestions for process improvements, driving efficiency and excellence in our operations.

  • · Interpret and Develop: Accurately read and interpret 2D shop drawings to develop precise technical drawings for façade systems.

  • · Collaborate and Coordinate: Actively participate in multidisciplinary coordination sessions, offering expert input to enhance project outcomes.

  • · Model with Precision: Model 3D components and buildings accurately for detailed analysis and compelling presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • · A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.

    · Excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects.

    · A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.

    · Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with various teams.

    · Expertise in technical drawing, 2D shop drawing interpretation, and 3D modeling
